Oriented Natural Reserve of Bosco Solivo - Piedmont


ORIENTED NATURAL RESERVE OF SOLIVO WOOD

A new oriented nature reserve has been created: the Bosco Solivo Reserve (Piedmont) with an area of ​​about 300 hectares in the Municipality of Borgo Ticino (NO) located between Verbania north and the beginning of the Ticino Valley to the south, integrating the system of protected areas of Lake Maggiore, an area of ​​great naturalistic, historical and cultural interest.

Today the Oriented Natural Reserve of Bosco Solivo is managed, together with the Natural Park of the Lagoni di Mercurago, the reeds of Dormelletto, and the Special Nature Reserve of Fondotoce, by the Lake Maggiore Parks Authority.

The park was inaugurated on 21 October 2006 in the presence of the press and the authorities.
